Frame firewalls form internal walls that restrict the spread of fire, for example, in partition
walls, partition systems, fire prevention barriers, staircase fencing, elevator wells, escape
routes and separating compartments of buildings with different uses. For the construction of
fire partitions, a frame construction with the use of drywall or special fire-resistant plates
can be used, depending on the required fire resistance.
Constructions using standard drywall and frame should be considered as a system. The system
should also include windows and doors rated at the same fire resistance level as the wall itself.
